Well, the laws governing child support gona vary from states to states so you want, you want to familiarize yourself for the laws of your particular state, but more importantly if you can reach an agreement with the other parent that they’re going to pay child support that’s the good place to start. But don’t stop there, you want to make sure any agreement is reduce to writing and that ultimately that written agreement is the subject of a court order so that in the event that agreeing spouse or parents stop paying child support, you can enforce it without an order or judgment, it’s gonna be very difficult.

So this is something you can do on your own if you know how to fill out the appropriate form but if you don’t seek the services of the lawyer that specializes in family law to assist you in drafting an agreement and getting it before court and obtaining a court order.
