How to Remove a Username From the Windows XP Login Screen
Today we're going to learn how to remove a username from the Windows XP Logon Screen. If you have an older brother or a son that gone off to college or somebody that’s no using the computer anymore then you want to remove her username form the logon screen, so you could directly go to your username without having to go the menu first. To remove a user account from the Windows XP Logon Screen, we first have to go to Start menu and then to the Control Panel. From the Control Panel, simply look for the User Account icon and double-click the icon. Now pick the Change an Account Task and then picked the account that you want to delete. For example, in our case, the Example account, then select the last option which is Delete the Account. Now, you'll be asked if your going to keep the files associated the account or not. So, make your choices carefully because if you delete files you'll loose them forever. Once you selected your choice, click Delete Account once more to confirm your intentions. And there we go; we can now see in the account screen that the account is gone. Now, when you turn on your computer, the choice of that account will be absent in the login screen.
