How to Remove an Icon From Windows XP Quick Start

Today we are going to learn how to remove an icon from windows xp quick start. Often you want to remove this shortcut because you ready have desktop or start menu and you want to saves space so you have a lot of tabs at the bottom of your screen. To remove an icon from a quick on menu simply go over to the icon then right click on it and then the pop up menu that appears select delete now if you just want to delete icon click the delete shortcut band but if you actually uninstall the program you can select other remove program might. Now you can all icon is diapered from the quick on menu.

One that keep in mind is that it’s not actually completely believe it’s actually the center recycle bin of your computer so to really believe it so just right click on your recycle bin and then the lap of pop up menu select empty recycle bin then just confirm by clicking yes another thing you can do is just completely remove the quick on menu all together to make all icons disappear do this in very simple all have to do is right click on a blank space on the start bar then go to tool bar and pop up menu and then uncheck the quick launch tool bar now you will notice that the tool bar is disappeared all together and all icon are gone but if you want to put it back you can simply recheck the tool bar by doing same procedure.
