Hi I’m Emilia and I’m here to talk about what causes unwanted hair growth in women. We all had that aunt fanny who has a beard which is like in her 60’s. What really cause unwanted hair growth in women is hormones. So once a woman hits menopause and the amount of estrogens starts dropping in her body, she starts producing more hair and actually her testosterone level are dropping at the same rate. So she’s actually just losing all her hormones for the most part and her body is just going to start producing more hair and as women and girls we notice this because as we get older, we always start getting weird hairs in weird places that we consistently have to tweeze.

And have that remove so pretty much what cause unwanted hair growth in women is hormones. The only way to get rid of it is to tweeze it, wax it, you can do laser and electrolyses. If you got blonde hair laser is not going to work, you might want to go with the electrolyses. And you’ll find that the unwanted hair growth is going to end up in places like your chin area, your upper lip, sometimes on your neck or even, you know, underneath your neck here. Sometimes even around your eyebrows, your eyebrows may get a little bit thicker but no the eyebrow itself. It’s going to be more around here. So pretty much anywhere you don’t want hair is where it’s going to grow.
