Now, some relaxers will revert, in other words they’ve been in the hair long enough. That hair will eventually come back to its natural state which is curlier unless it was a thermo relaxer. Your thermo relaxers are permanent so that’s just got to be cut out and a lot of times the hair that has been previously relaxed doesn’t like want to curl.

Another option could be if you really want in your curls back would be to maybe get a body wave, however that is doubling up the processes and could cause more damage. You also going to make sure that you did not use a sodium base relaxer because if you use a sodium base relaxer and then put an ammonium hydroxide base product over that, you will have breakage. The would snap off. But if you us an ammonium base product then you can, if you really need to, you can get a perm over it. You can try just curling it see if the curl holds but pretty much once the hair’s been relaxed you have to wait for it to either revert or grow out.
