Hi I’m Emilia and I’m here to talk to you about how to wash out hair dye. If you go to the salon and you get a hair dye that you are not happy with, its to dark, you can come home and wash it wash it wash it. If you’re really desperate you can try a little bit of don dish soap in your hair cause it has a lot of surfactants in it that would really strip the color out.

You also going to maybe want to not use a color safe shampoo and then the dye will come out very quickly. But if your desperate and its really bad, first go back to the salon have it done and have it corrected and if they probably use something like this which is a color corrector, it actually goes in and removes the hair dye completely and brings you back to your state. Now, it won’t bring you back to your natural color of what you were, what it will do is bring you back to something called your remaining color. So, with this particular model, as you can see she has this color hair dyed on and then we use the Rusk on her and we pulled it out and what’s left is this arranging tone because this arranging tone is what was lifted from.

So I put this permanent color on, it lifted her hair and this is what is left after we took that color out. So then of course we have to use a semi-permanent color and cover this to bring her back to whatever color she really wants to be. So when trying to get your hair dye out, again just remember that always go back to the salon you got it done. There’s a lot of ways they can fix it that will keep your hair safe and healthy and again you can also try using some really using harsh shampoos and that will help pull out some of the colors. Sometimes if you’re hairs a little over poured, it’ll grab a little bit darker. You shampoo it once or twice and it lightens up to just the right shape. So just be patient and always remember to bring in a picture whenever you go and get your hair colored so that you and the designer are both a green on what you’re expecting.
