Hi I’m Emilia and I’m here to talk to you about how to use your flat iron if you’re a blonde hair. Blonde hair does sometimes, even though blondes actually have more hair on their head than anybody else, they do the hair sometimes be a lot finer and blondes do tend to highlight so the hair’s going to be a little bit more damaged usually. So when flat ironing blonde hair you’re going to want to make sure that you’re flat iron has a temperature control.

As you can see with this one, it got a + and a – so I could bring that temperature down or I could bring it up, depending on my needs of my hair. So for with the temperature control I would start on maybe not on the lowest but the next lowest setting and then take your hair and just flat ironing. You’re also going to want to make sure you get a thermo protected and spray that on your hair prior to flat ironing because that will definitely keep the hair a lot healthier and you’ll be able to flat iron a little bit longer and more often. So that worked out just fine having it on that medium to low setting so definitely get a flat iron that has a temperature control so that way you have more control over the amount of heat that will actually be touching your hair because of blonde hair again specially if its blonded with color its going to need a lot of moisture and love and care.
