Exercise & Fitness Tips : How Does Aerobic Exercise Affect Blood Pressure?

Hi, I’m Ashley Gas, strength and conditioning specialist, with brilliantathlete.com. How does aerobic exercise affect blood pressure? Well, remember an aerobic exercise, is exercise such as walking or jogging that’s done typically for a longer duration, let’s say sprint training for example. And studies have shown conclusively, that people, who exercise regularly by walking or jogging, have got lower blood pressure than those that don’t exercise.

So if you’ve been to your doctor, and they’ve said that your blood pressure’s high and you need to start to reduce it, one of the immediate tools you’ve is just to go out everyday and walk for about 15-20 minutes, whatever length of time you’re comfortable with just make sure you get out there and do it. Other things to take into consideration when you need to lower your blood pressure is a change from processed , packaged foods into fruits, vegetables, lean meats as well. So, the combination of aerobic exercise and nutrition will be all that you need to lower your blood pressure. For more information on this you can contact me at brilliantathlete.com, I’m Ashley Gas.
