How to Remove Judgments From Your Credit Report

You want to remove some judgments from your credit bureau report? Well, first you need to consider have you actually paid the judgments or not because this will change how you need to make a request to your creditors. First, if you have paid the judgments off, then you simply need to request your creditor remove the information or at least update the information to show that it has been paid off. And if they choose not to do so, you just need to contact the credit bureau reporting agency that has the information and tell them that the creditor is not being cooperative and find out what they say that you should do.

The next, if you have not paid the judgments off yet, then you might want to consider talking to the creditor and see if they will consider removing the old information and putting out the new information that does reflect the payments that have been made on the judgment and where you’re at and that you’re making timely payments at this point in time. If they choose not to do that, again contact the credit bureau reporting agency and find out what they suggest.
