Credit Card Score

A score is really just a score on a credit base on a reporting bureau. There are three. They are Trans Union, Experian and Equifax. These are credit reporting agencies where a credit card company, all of them report to these agencies about how a client is paying their credit card, also, how much is on the credit card as an outstanding balance relative to the total line of credit. And also if there are any late fees and also how many open accounts that that same individual might have with the credit card company. These various factors calculates towards a total score.

A credit card score that each of these reporting agencies interprets in a different way. When someone polls your credit; if it’s for a mortgage and poll three credit bureau at the same time; that’s called a tri-merged. But if you’re working with an isolated creditor, he may only poll one bureau at a time so that’s why it’s essential that you are very responsible with your credit and because you’ll never know which reporting agency is going to be chosen.
